What hasn’t been said about baits with maple and nut… not much! Proper old skool that still catches thousands of carp year in, year out. What can be said about this bait is that it is an original recipe from the early days of modern carp fishing on the famous Savay Lake. The original recipe was more milk based in the early days but the later inclusion of nuts helped amass a great list of carp from this famous venue. With the original recipe I managed to source an almost identical maple liquid to that used in the early 80’s, and with the inclusion of our Fruit Stimulin and golden syrup, Savay Maple Nut has been re-born.
